Youth Programs Assistant, Giovanna Clemens

Giovanna (She/Her/Hers) is the Youth Programs Assistant at Fab Youth Philly. She is currently a senior studying Criminal Justice at John Jay College with a focus on youth justice initiatives. In 2019, She worked for Philadelphia Youth Network as a Summer WorkReady Supervisor ensuring positive work environments for student workers ages 15-16. She knew firsthand the experiences of student workers because she held the position of camp counselor as a WorkReady student worker in 2013 and 2014. During her time at John Jay, she served as an AmeriCorps Service Member and volunteered at nonprofit organizations, Children of Promise and Books through Bars. Both organizations focused on addressing issues and the experiences of incarcerated people and their families. Staff by project

As we've grown, we've had the incredible fortune to work with FAB youth development professionals. Our staff shrinks and grows seasonally and depending on the projects we are working on, so most positions are PT and seasonal as our largest youth programming takes place during the summer.

Meet some of the interns, youth development professionals, teaching artists and consultants we've worked with over the years.
